Brookshire swimmers 7+ will warm up at 4:30pm.

💙 Swimmers should check-in with Coach Maia when they arrive! 💙

Volunteers should check in at 4:30pm. Volunteers need to stay the whole meet, so please plan accordingly.

⭐️ Bring plenty of food, drinks, dry towels, & shade to help your swimmers make it through the night! Refer back to our Swim Meet 101 for what to bring!

⭐️ Concessions is 💵 CASH or Venmo 💵

⭐️ Please give yourself plenty of time to park & get settled before warmups. Parking is on one side of the street only & you may need to walk a bit.

⭐️ Please sit swimmers with our team in the grass near the blue BST canopy outside the gates of the pool. During the meet, you can help the coaches by listening for your swimmers' age groups. Around 3-4 heats before their event starts, the coaches call for swimmers to line them up under the blue tent.

⭐️ Heat sheets are attached & swimmers' events are also available on the Swimtopia app. If it's helpful to your child, please mark their arms with their events/heats/lanes.

⭐️ 6 & Under Parents:

Please only watch from the side of the pool during the 6&U events. Coaches from both teams work together to make sure all our littlest swimmers are lined up & ready to go on time. However, if we can't see the swimmers, we can't make sure they make it into the water! Thank you for your help on this!

Hello Brookshire Swim Team!

The Vortex team invites you and your swimmers for a dual meet at Village of West Clay! The address for our pool is 12545 Meetinghouse Road.

Here is a timeline for the meet:

4:00: Vortex Warm Up
4:30: Brookshire Warm Up
5:00: Meet begins

• Parking- The parking lot will be packed. If you are unable to find parking in the lot, please park on only one side of the street -- signs will be posted. Emergency vehicles cannot get through if we park on both sides -- you will be asked to move your car!
• Spectators- There will be some space for spectators on the pool deck, but spectators are also welcome to set up camp outside the gates if the pool deck is crowded. You can spread out in the grassy areas outside the gates and come in to watch your swimmer’s events. If you do choose to set up inside the gates, we ask that you please avoid setting up chairs around the deep end or the "bubble" as this is the walkway used by coaches and swimmers.
• Concessions! We will have a full concession stand with drinks, Greek's pizza by the slice, hot dogs, popsicles, and snacks. We accept cash as well as Venmo. You are allowed to bring a cooler to the meet (no alcohol please) but we encourage you to visit the concession stand. The concession stand will be located on the north end of the pool deck by the baby pool.
• The baby pool and the shallow pool are closed during the meet. Swimmers should also stay off of the stairs in the main pool. Sorry for the inconvenience!
